Ed’s finally declared he’s gonna run for leader of the Labour party. Declaring he is to stand, Balls said
“I’m going to put my name in for the Labour party leadership. I think it’s really important we don’t just talk to ourselves, we’ve got to hear what the country’s got to say.”
There was another to declare today but let’s face it, with the Milliband brothers grimm running the only other candidate expected to challenge is this man, we’ll call him nice uncle Ed. He kinda looks like you mum’s younger hipper brother doesn’t he? Does that mean he’s a good listener though?
Seems everybody is willing to listen once they’ve been kicked out their job, whilst they’re in it though, they seem quite happy to hear what you are saying but ignore it completely.
So Ed makes it three who read PPE (that’s Philosophy, Politics & Economics) at Oxford, so how does that help those who have to chose a leader differentiate between these three middle class white boys?
As well, since we the public don’t really have a say in who elects the leaders of any political party? (The matter is entirely up to their members to decide) why do we care who comes out on top, they all seem the same anyway don’t they? and add to that the Labour party has just lost a general election so we’re not much interested in what they have to say anyway.
